Water Control Engineer
Description:
The role holder is responsible to monitor the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) database of Kahramaa’s water distribution networks and evaluate the quantity and pressure of water within each zone of the distribution system. The role holder is also responsible to report any identified anomalies, equipment malfunctions and network leaks to concerned departments for timely rectification of the issue, in order to ensure that water is pumped and is flowing effectively within the Kahramaa’s distribution network.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical and Process Engineering discipline
More than 8 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or in a similar role of which minimum 4+ years of supervisory experience preferably in the areas of Water Control Centre, SCADA, and in the operations of primary mains, reservoir, pumping stations
