The residence visa process in Qatar is typically managed by your employer (sponsor). The entire process from job offer to receiving your Qatar ID usually takes 2-6 weeks, depending on various factors.
Step 1: Job Offer & Employment Contract
Your journey begins with a formal job offer from a Qatari company. Once you accept:
- Review and sign the employment contract
- Provide copies of your passport and educational certificates
- Submit passport-size photographs
- Your employer initiates the visa process with the Ministry of Interior
Step 2: Work Visa Approval
Your employer applies for a work visa on your behalf:
