Essential Job Functions:Electing, dismantling, troubleshooting, repairing and operating of Tower Cranes .Commissioning of new and second hand tower and mobile cranes. Diagnose, adjustment, repair or overhaul of tower cranes. Repairs virtually any part on cranes either on the company's yard, in the shop or in the field.Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry.Applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify operational machinery and equipment.Sets the positive example in punctuality and professional demeanor by respectful communication with all levels of staff, keeping work areas clean and orderly and promotes safety regulations and all other company programs.Operates and inspects machines in order to diagnose defects.Dismantles and reassembles tower cranes, cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment.Examines parts for damage or excessive wear. Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings .Oversees the maintenance of quality standards through visual and mechanical inspection methods. Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring the group and self follow established safety procedures. Oversees the handling and disposing of environmentally harmfull residues.
