Purpose / Role:To support the Lead Engineer, and to work with the Piping Team in delivering the Engineering Design meeting AMEC Black Cat and Client criteria for Technical Design Quality, Technical Safety and within allocated timescale and budget.The work involves conceptual and detail design for offshore Brownfield projects in a developing organization.The work involves conceptual and detail design for offshore Brownfield projects in a developing organisation.

Key aims and objectives:To support the Piping Team to deliver to Clients needs, working safely and accurately.To actively take part in and support the career development of the team’s graduates and other technical design personnel.

Prime responsibilities and duties:Preparation of Piping design including front end, detail design and close out deliverables, as directed by the Lead Engineer, using Intergraph SmartPlant 3D CAD system.To work with the Engineering Team in providing safe designs.
