Tyco Qatar Fire & Security is currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Team based in Doha, Qatar. The position will require a candidate who has an outstanding knowledge in Sales of Fire Systems, be able to work under their own initiative, produce professional work to tight schedules and have the ability to present technical solutions to the blue chip clients.
Responsibilities and Obligations:
1. Maintain contact with prospective clients and consultants for securing orders.
2. Promote products and develop product sales.
3. Attend site surveys, bid-clarification meetings and maintain reports.
4. Review tender documents and understand or else seek clarifications to either the customer or the department manager.
5. Seek quotations from the sub-vendor, sub-contractors etc.
6. Attend techno-commercial negotiation meetings along with the management.
7. Prepare sales reports.
8. To be conversant with the Company Quality and HSE Policies and ensure they are observed and implemented.
9. Reporting to Sales Manager.Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
2. Knowledge in Fire Systems.
3. Strong Personality & High Level of Communication Skills.
4. Minimum 3 Years relevant experience.
5. Conversant with engineering aspects of Fire Systems and knowledge of NFPA, QCD Local standards.
