Job Description :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for examining various machinery including engine room and their proper housekeeping
Examine machinery for specified pressure and flow of lubrications
Fill oil cups on machinery with grease and lubricant oil according t o machinery specifications
Apply oil and grease for the moving parts on board.(shafts, rudders etc)
Assist the commissioning coordinator/engineer with maintenance/repair
Perform any other assigned task by the department.
Comply with HSE policies and procedures
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Vocational/Technical Training in Mechanical /piping or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience in yard in similar capacity
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings
Knowledge of work methods and standards
Knowledge of tools
Excellent communication skill in English
Able to organize the work on board
Good physical strength and endurance
Quality conscious
Ability to meet targets in time
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Team player
