Job Description :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for checking and testing of various electrical, mechanical, navigational, hydraulics, piping and other outfitting systems of the ship as part of commissioning
Testing the integrity various systems during trials
Report all defects and variations and coordinate with production team for the rectification
Support certification agencies during their inspection process
Ensures that all works are completed as per the commissioning schedule
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings
Follow HSE policies and procedures
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience on board of vessels as maintenance/repair engineer/ship coordinator/service engineer.
Good knowledge of hydraulics/electrical and navigational systems/equipment
Experience with technical drawings
Experience with class bureau’s
Team player
Execution skills
Good initiative and interpersonal skills
Problem solver
English both spoken as written
