We are looking for a Medical Claims Auditor/Claims Coder
interested in a long-term employment opportunity in Qatar. This is full-time position reporting to the Financial Manager, to be part of our claims section.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
• Conduct healthcare claims audits in multi- sites, to insure proper healthcare coding and billing practices.
• Responsible for maintenance/update of audit tests based on healthcare claims policies and procedures and help to create newtests based on plan request/regulations.
• Report and track audit findings, summarize problem areas, and identify potential solutions, remedies, and controls.
• Perform other special duties and manage projects as directed.
• Experience desired
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience using the
following skills:
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Database skills a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of employment with a company; or equivalent
experience in a healthcare setting; or a certificate/diploma in medical billing and/or coding may be substituted for healthcare experience.
• Minimum 6 months of Claims coding experience or medical billing
experience desired
• Preferred certification in at least one of the following: certification in
ICD10 with auditing experience.
