Job Description :
Education:BSc in Biomedical Sciences/ MT or equivalent and Masters in Biomedical Sciences/Clinical Laboratories or equivalent
Experience:
7+ years relevant experience in a North American Academic Institution or equivalent in UK, Republic of Ireland, EU States, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand in any related discipline of Biomedical Science.
Experience in evaluating and commissioning new equipment and technologies,
CAP accreditation experience
Point of Care Experience
Pediatric Hospital experience
Experience in Pediatric Pathology/ POC, Reception, Phlebotomy
Certification and Licensure
American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) certificate or equivalent
Professional Membership
FIBMS- or ASCDP or equivalent
Job Specific Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of CAP/ ISO 15189/JCI standards and guidelines
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Fluency in written and spoken English
