Description:Plan, develop and administer document control systems for QC and the interface with KM EDMS..Collaborate closely with the FT Division in developing standards, procedures, tools and techniques in ensuring effective and smooth document control systems required for QC projects and studies.Provides expertise on server management which includes capacity planning, installation, data storage organization, optimization and maintenance. Act as Project clerk for all QC Projects.Types and prints out a variety of letters, memos and reports using a word processor.Prepares a variety of charts, graphs and statistical data for Senior Staff utilising a number of software packages. Interrogates system to establish data required and presents in the most suitable format, creating new layouts as required.Enters and Retrieves data from the department’s computer database covering all aspects of the work, operating within the department network and using specialized software Maintains and updates a general filing system including a master file of all typewritten other materials as required. Keeps check on stocks of supplies available and advises when replenishment is required.Drafts simple letters, memos etc. at Supervisor’s request and types and presents for signature.Records details of mail received and dispatched by the department.Contributes to the development, fine tuning and maintenance of databases and ensuring information security.Develops and document policies and procedures for information and documentation management,Ensures overall network availability of stationery materials for department and act as technical and coordinating focal point and liaison with IT on all documents-related systems and administration.Installs new and implement new tools and packages as directed by FT Division.Provides technical support on any corporate level data and information system related projects as directed by FT Division.Mentors Qatari Development trainees.Oversees the creation and maintenance of an inventory for the computer equipment, configurations, software releases and associated supplies within Quality Dept.Prioritizes and coordinates multiple work activities while meeting critical deadlines.Assists and updates operating procedures and prepares written reports, project plans and recommendations for user needs.Provides guidance and tools in accomplishing day-to-day tasks and project work.Provides assistance with planning for professional research and planning projects.Manages and priorities project work with the incoming and ongoing support requests. Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
Diploma or Higher Secondary with Certification in System Documentation
Minimum 5- 7 years experience in a corporate world and their systems implementation.
Advanced software application development and tools and applicable programming languages in the business and industrial environment and experience with network products, services, maintenance and administration will be highly regarded.
