Role Purpose
The Domain Manager (DM) will need to display competence and experience in the following skill areas to drive the purpose of this challenging role.
Technical: The DM will show requisite technical skills to allow for valuable contribution in and out of the domain.  Considered to be a subject matter expert in many of the applications and platforms within that domain.  Experience of Oracle products are a MUST have for this role.   Collaborative Development and integration of these products to the business processes and supporting applications to the corporate users, and  to other key customer facing systems and platforms in other telco’s is advantageous.
Project Management: From time to time there will be an expectation to manage, or over see technology projects within the domain.   Additionally there will be participation in the major programmes, small works delivery, and deployments. Projects can be made up of teams from the technology partners, the domain and from Vodafone Group.  Working to the project management principals of time, quality and cost.   The candidate should be Prince 2 or PPM qualified.
Data Collection/Analyser:  The DM will need to be able to collect and gather information from a number of sources in order to provide decision support to the CRM domain and its stakeholders, to the IT function, and to the wider business.   Focus areas include, opex, market insights, benefits realisation, quality of delivery/service, innovation, customer experience and stakeholder engagement.
Guide and Coach: The DM will need to be able to lead and coach the domain and technology functions though the technical implications of the strategic deliveries while at the same time maintaining a consistent message with the other domains.    Domain managers will ensure collaboration with the other domains and domain managers.
Facilitation: The DM will find the best optimum mix of partners, Vodafone Group services and industry best practice for domain enhancement and lead the stakeholders through the decision processes and forums.
Influencing: The DM will drive goals, opportunities and objectives throughout the domain function and stakeholders.  Use of the DM’s wide network of contacts in the industry, in the partner organisations and within Vodafone will allow the domain to make the required leaps forward.

1. Thinks customer at all times and champions the customer experience
2. Works proactively with key stakeholders and customers across the VFQA organization to develop and implement an efficient and responsive domain management.
3.  Manages and influences key Vodafone Group and supplier relationships and network proactively to understand developments in products and service delivery, for the best use in Vodafone Qatar.
4. Provide “End to End Domain Support” capability filling in the gaps for a total technology solution and roadmap.
5. Conduct performance reviews with partners and with the Partner Management function for the supply of technology services and systems which underpin the domain platforms and products.
6. Work with any of the internal and external teams to ensure a seamless experience for the domain and end customers.
7. Optimize how we deliver technology to achieve goals, strategies, and objectives by using third party companies. 
8. Establishing Goals – Clearly establish and define goals, as well as performance parameters, for third party suppliers that optimize their opportunity to meet / exceed the domain account or wider Vodafone Qatar requirements.
9. Provide internal consultancy for existing and new development opportunities within the domain.
10. Leverage prior experience (business and technology) to bring visible value addition into projects and practices. 
11. Demonstrate deep understanding of technology process, tools, techniques, system, and solutions. 
12. Strong technology background with particularly experience in Telecoms, Mobile Communication and IT industries with the capability of understanding and contributing to complex IT strategies.
