Job Description:The Solutions Architect role is to plan, design systems and solutions, build standards, suggest best practices, review, comment and suggest on proposed solutions, and be part of the infrastructure team and overall operations of the Systems and Networks to ensure stable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure and running systems.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Prepare Architecture documents, Blueprints, standards, and guidelines drafts, review related documents
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development and evaluating all system and network infrastructure
- Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts for various upgrade projects, improvements and other conversions
- Develop, maintain and update and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for the infrastructure administrators and project managers
- Participate in the development of the IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team
- Design and implement short and long-term strategies and plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
- Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- 8-10 years of related experience of which a minimum of 5 years should be in a similar position
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent. Togaf Certification, ITIL and ITSM certification is an added value.
- Extensive Experience in designing “Multi-Tenant” cloud based solution
- Extensive experience and knowledge in designing & building complex national wide systems and applications.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in e-Government systems and solutions
- Extensive experience in IBM & HP HW and in general enterprise systems, networks and security.
- Extensive experience on SLA based service delivery model
