Job Summary:
The Head – Communication Technology is responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence. The incumbent works closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. He/ She is also responsible for crafting micro sites, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns.The Head – Communication Technology works closely with technical, business development, branding and marketing members of Sidra. 

Key Role Accountabilities:
Manages the continual development of micro websites and features on the main website
Manages the content for organization’s web presence using content management system
Maintains a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
Maintains and develop the master content calendar for all web properties
Oversees web designers and web editors
Keeps current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events
Assures web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
Tracks and reports on all sites metrics
Works cooperatively with key team members and organization's stakeholders.
Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in visual Art, Graphic/web Design or related field.
Experience:

7+ years’ experience in managing and production for high traffic websites
Advanced knowledge of HTML
Experience with popular content management systems
Job Specific Skills and Abilities:

Analysing and Programming skills
Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
Great knowledge of content strategy and content management
Great sense of visual design and design principles
Ability to meet strict task deadlines
Knowledge of CSS and Adobe Suite
Organized and flexible – should have the ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly shifting priorities by managing one’s own time and proactively identifying what needs to get done.
Team-oriented, with experience working cross-functionally, with all levels of the organization
Strong communication skills
Experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Fluency in written and spoken English
