Major Job Activities / Responsibilities:Receive job cards for assigned work on daily basis.Carry out required maintenance work and report to the Supervisor the progress of the job or return job cards on completion of the job with job histroy wirtten on it.Use relevent electric drawings for fault tracking and update any drawing which do not match with the site installation.Should be aware of the different test to be carried out L.V & H.V. Motors/L.V. Air circuit breakers, H.V. Oil and Vacuum Circuit Breakers.Should follow safety procedure and to check before starting work that the said equipment is isolated and properly earthed.To carry out preventive, breakdown and planed overhaul of asigned equipment's such H.V. Switchgears, Transformers, Gas Turbine Alternators, H.V. & L.V. Motors and various other equipment associated with power and water station.To consult with electrical supervisor for problems which are new or which requires higher decision power.
