Job Description :
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Design, architecture, engineering, capacity management and planning of CS Core, VAS applications and Payment platforms, hardware and Software in the Circuit Switched Domain.
• Develops short, mid, and long term planning for the CS core and VAS applications network evolution.
• Technical RFQ, RFP and Vendors selection for CS Core and VAS platforms.
• Support Marketing and other Business stakeholders for building new customer attractive propositions

Key performance indicators
• Deliver accurate Scope Of Work, HLD, and LLD for new initiatives.
• Deliver accurate capacity planning based on marketing forecast.
• Give timely support to network operations team to achieve target KPIs.
• Give timely support to marketing team for new business requirements.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Deep understanding of CS Core and VAS network architecture (MSC, MGW, CSDB, STP, IN, SMSC, Voice mail…etc).
• Deep knowledge and experience of CS core, IN and VAS evolution and modernization strategies.
• Excellent experience in various core communication protocol suits (SS7, Sigtran, Diameter…etc)
• Good level of knowledge on other domains like IP, Tx and RAN as interworking domains with CS Core.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• BSC in Communication and Electronics Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience on CS Core planning in a vendor or an operator environment.
