Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is an award winning subsidiary of Qatar Airways, the national airline of the state of Qatar and currently operates at the Departure, Arrivals, VIP and Premium Terminal of Hamad International Airport. As one of the fastest growing Duty Free operations in the world, Qatar Duty Free operates from the new Hamad International Airport (HIA). HIA is also home to the newly created QDF Food & Beverage Division which will set new benchmarks in airport hospitality.
About Your Job::
To monitor QDF areas across the airport through CCTV systems and liaise with the Supervisors, Police, MOI, Qatar Airways Security and other agencies as necessary. To observe behaviours and identify individuals who may cause loss or damage to QDF product and property.
Ensure that security performance standards of QDF staff and contractors meet the specification stipulated by the security supervisor to protect property and facilities of QDF at the airport against unlawful interference, theft, and damage.
To question, enquire and report any potential security incident from the Control Room.
About You::
Person filling this position will be required to interpret a range of documented regulatory and Company directives as well as verbal instructions to administrative activities.
To be fluent in English is crucial to report incidences of non-compliance throughout the airport. An ability to work well within a small very busy team as well as independently is a fundamental requirement, as is integrity and confidentiality.
Must be in good health and have a good level of general fitness due to the physical demands of the job.
Prepared to work a rotating shift system and/on- call system as rostered.
Proven ability to deal tactfully and effectively with people at all levels within the organisation, external agencies, contractors and members of the general public.
Experience:
Experienced – 2 to 4 years of job related experience
Qualifications:
High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education)
CCTV and access control training certificate Select minimum experience level required
