AUTOCAD DRAUGHTSMAN – INTERIOR FIT-OUT/JOINERY
Role & Responsibilities:
• Produce detailed shop drawing mainly in joinery works such as fire rated/non fire rated doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, vanity counters, wardrobes, Pergolas and other items such as gypsum ceiling etc.
• Making 2D drawings, Sectional plans, elevations, section details, spot details for every joint point as required for production.
• Prepare and review the shop drawings for day to day site activities.
• Prepare conceptual and working drawing for interior design projects.
• Prepare DXF files with layers as used in writing CNC Programs.
• Prepare finished designs from sketches.
• Co-ordinate drawing reviews and updates with Site Engineers & Production Engineers.
• Establish and maintain well-organized filing and retrieval system for all drawings.
Candidate Profile:
• Diploma or Certificate in Computerized Drafting (Auto Cad, Architectural Cad) from an accredited institution, supplement by on-going up-dating of AutoCAD releases (ie Auto Cad 2000, version 14)
• Minimum of 5 – 7years of directly related experience in the preparation of carpentry fit-out drawings.
• Sound knowledge of Plotter hardware and software.
