SIDR2653 - APPLICATION ANALYST - IMAGING
JOB SUMMARY:
The Imaging Application Analyst applies detailed knowledge of Imaging information technology to the implementation, development, and support of Sidra’s Imaging management system. The incumbent works closely with the radiology department to ensure that the system operates in an optimal and efficient manner at all times and that the system meets the requirements of the end-users and provides support for the application as part of the overall service.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Supports business users in the analysis of requirements, process mapping, and the development of solution design specifications in accordance with organizational standards
Contributes to all aspects of the application lifecycle including implementation planning, design, build, testing, maintenance, and support
Provides recommendations for improvements, enhancements and innovations in assigned area to support high quality patient care, and research
Responds to service requests and coordinates issue resolution
Conducts job duties and responsibilities according to the organization’s business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
Produces business process flow charts
Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership
Modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
Guides end users through complex application functionality
Responds quickly and efficiently to any application related incident that is sent via help desk to the team in accordance to Sidra service/support model
Develops solution modifications, configuration, and workflows based on business requirements
Develops test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts
Conducts solution testing and guides end users through complex application functionality
Provides first line support for service requests
Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies
In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary
Education:Bachelor’s Degree In IT or a related field
Experience3+ years’ experience as an Analyst in a healthcare setting or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience supporting solutions in a hospital environment
Experience in implementation and supporting of Cerner’s applications
