Iran’s Ambassador to Qatar Hamidreza Dehghani and South Korea's Ambassador Joon He Lee hoisted their nation's flags at the Doha Corniche on Thursday, after the two countries qualified for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 recently.
The two ambassadors said they were impressed with Qatar’s preparations for the World Cup and called on their nation’s fans to travel to the tournament. Also present on the occasion were Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) Secretary General Hassan al-Thawadi, Chairman of the Operations Office and Vice Chairman of the Technical Delivery Office at SC Eng Yasir Abdullah al-Jamal and Deputy Director General at SC Khalid Ali al-Mawlawi.
