Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic has taken action against a driver who drove his SUV on the bicycle lane.
In a tweet on its social media account, the department said that the vehicle was seized and legal action taken against the driver.
The video of the vehicle on bicycle lane was trending on social media and this helped the department nab the vehicle and its driver.
The department called on motorists to abide by traffic laws to ensure safety of road users.
