The Ministry of Interior has explained, through an infographic and a map, the planned regulation of vehicle movement from 3-10pm on Friday in view of the Lusail Super Cup. Earlier, the Corniche Closure Committee had announced the plan to regulate the high level of vehicle traffic in Doha during the match at Lusail Stadium.
The plan – which will be implemented from 3-10pm – will divert vehicles with general transport number plates and black private transport number plates away from central Doha. People who own only one vehicle (with either a general transport number plate or private black number plate), as well as Mowasalat and Qatar Rail public transport vehicles, are exempted from the plan and will be able to access these roads.
