Uruguayan President Dr Luis Lacalle Pou and his wife Monday visited Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), on the sidelines of his official visit to the country.
They were briefed on the highlights of Al Shaqab's facilities, based on the highest equestrian standards.

The Uruguayan delegation, accompanied by Al Shaqab executive director Khalifa bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, attended a show of purebred Arabian horses produced by equestrian centre.
Dr Pou expressed his admiration for the high-quality facilities at Al Shaqab.
