Doha Bank has recently held the sixth Al Dana Millionaire event at its Al Mirqab Branch to draw and announce the winners of its Al Dana Savings Scheme campaign for September 2017.
The draw, which was also live streamed on Doha Bank’s social media platforms in the presence of Doha Bank customers, an officer from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Quantitative License and Market Control Department, and the bank’s senior management, yielded 18 lucky winners, who walked away with outstanding cash prizes.
The mega QR1mn prize this month went to M al-Zamel, while the QR100,000 prize was awarded to B Khodier and 15 additional winners walked away with QR10,000 each.
M al-Thani was named winner of the Young Savers Scholarship prize worth QR25,000 for the Al Dana Young Saver’s monthly draw.
The latest millionaire, a university student, said: “I am very glad to have won the millionaire draw, as I did not expect it! I was shocked when they called me. If I could win the QR1mn just by keeping the minimum monthly balance in my Al Dana Savings account, you can too.” Exclusively in August, all Doha Bank customers with an Al Dana Savings account and Al Dana Young Savers account got double the chance to win QR1mn for every QR1,000 in their savings account, while customers who kept a minimum balance of QR25,000 or more by the end of the month got six extra chances to win.
