Temperatures to continuously dip as pre-winter month begins: QMD

Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), on Twitter, has shared satellite images showing initial indications of a chance of scattered rain during the weekend and the beginning of next week.

Temperatures are also expected to continuously decrease as pre-winter month, November, begins and autumn concludes.    

On its climate information for November, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) also stated that chances of rain are likely to improve as this month "has the second highest number of thunderstorms after March."

The prevailing winds are also mostly Northwesterly.  

The mean daily temperature for November is 24.8 degrees Celsius. 

The lowest and highest temperature recorded in November was 11.8 degrees Celsius (1963) and 38 degrees Celsius (1969).
