Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) warns of strong wind with high sea during the weekend. Scattered cloud and blowing dust are also likely followed by cold nights. QMD also mentioned a chance of scattered rain on Saturday.
The lowest temperature forecast during the weekend is 17 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature will reach 25 degrees Celsius.
The wind, on Friday, will blow mainly northeasterly to northwesterly at 5-15 KT inshore and 8-18 KT gusting to 22 KT at North offshore. While on Saturday, the wind will blow in northwesterly direction at 12-22 KT gusting to 28 KT.
On both days, sea heights will vary at 1-3 ft inshore. For Friday offshore, sea heights will vary at 5-8 ft rising to 7ft north. On the other hand, sea heights on Saturday offshore will vary from 3-7 ft rising to 12 ft at times.
The visibility will range from 4-9 kilometres and may be less on Saturday at some places at times.
