Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) reported that the marine warning of strong wind and high seas is expected to continue until Tuesday, March 1.
A slight decrease in temperature is expected until Wednesday, March 2, during early morning hours and night due to fresh northwesterly wind. The lowest temperature is forecast to range between 10-17 degrees Celsius in various regions. Meanwhile, weather conditions will also be mild during daytime and warm sometimes.
During this period, the wind will blow in a northwesterly direction at 10-20 KT speed gusting to 27 KT at some areas at times.
Sea heights will also range between 3-6 ft rising to 8ft at times.
QMD warned all citizens and residents to avoid all marine activities during this period and to take extra precautions.
