Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel celebrated Qatar National Day with a 2022kg giant cake cutting, a cultural performance and local gastronomic treats.
One of the highlights was the ongoing exhibition by Qatari artist Haida al-Khuzai, who presented her collection of new artworks at Atrium Lounge.
The celebration continued with feasts in the hotel’s dining venues, Al Hubara, La Veranda and Pool Cafe, which served up locally inspired flavours designed for family gatherings.
In the evening, guests enjoyed celebratory dinners, a perfect view of the fireworks display, and a mini-feature paying tribute to Qatar’s heritage and growth displayed on the building’s façade.
