The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has stressed that its upcoming initiative, the second seasonal camping market, will support traders, entrepreneurs and productive families by providing a free venue to showcase and market their products.
The market will allow visitors, camp owners and families interested in camping and travel to buy the necessary equipment and supplies, featuring all companies specialised in camping supplies in one place, the MEC has said in a statement.
The market, taking place on Al Rifaa Street from October 24 to December 1, will also feature an open space, entertainment area and a dedicated area for productive families.
The initiative is being launched for the second year in a row. Registration for the second seasonal camping market started on August 30.
The MEC has invited traders, entrepreneurs and productive families to register by submitting a request attached with a copy of a valid commercial registration. This is in addition to a pledge to maintain the space’s cleanliness.
