San Marino thanks Qatar for support in facing coronavirus pandemic

SAN MARINO: The Republic of San Marino has expressed its thanks to the State of Qatar for its support in containing the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Republic of San Marino’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the state of Qatar’s support reflects the two countries’ solidarity in facing the COVID-19 pandemic, stressing that cooperation has become more urgent in facing the challenges imposed by the medical emergency that continues to test the entire international community.

Qatar’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic H E Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, who is Qatar’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino, delivered a check worth $150,000 from Qatar Charity to Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino to Italy H E Daniela Rotondaro.
