Registering on ‘Travel entry into Qatar portal’ on Ehteraz speeds up arrival procedures: Official

Doha: Registering on "Travel entry into Qatar portal" on Ehteraz has many advantages at the present time, Captain Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, officer at the Airport Passports Department, said.

The passengers coming to Qatar can easily register on the portal submitting all data related to hotel quarantine, PCR, vaccination certificates, and so on.

Speaking to Qatar Radio, he said that the registration gives many advantages specially for those who are accompanied with children as this will help them avoid signing the pledge for quarantine at the airport, as this procedure could take time. Registration makes the arrival process at airport quicker and easier.

Also, it enables citizens and residents to use the e-gates for those who are over 18 years old, he added.

Non-residents of Qatar must register via the pre-registration system for people entering the State of Qatar on www.ehteraz.gov.qa website and upload all relevant documents such as vaccine certificate at least 3 days before arrival.

Although pre-registration is optional for citizens and residents of Qatar, the Ministry of Public Health recommends that all individuals entering Qatar pre-register to ensure the best experience upon arrival in Qatar.

Additionally, PCR test result is no longer required during the electronic pre-registration process. Instead, travellers must present the original copy of the PCR test result to the airlines in order to allow them to board the plane, or at the country’s ports (land and sea).
