Al Rayyan Municipality’s Gharafa Office spotted and removed 26 abandoned vehicles and cabins, in addition to issuing 76 violations for unidentified sources and issuing four violation reports, referring them to the security entities concerned.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) Public Gardens Department has beautified a roundabout at Al Qutaifyah Street using a variety of colourful plants and flowers.
Around 140 shepherds and livestock farm workers at all Al Khor Farm Complex took part in the awareness drive of “Our Shepherds”, organised by the MME’s Public Relations and Communication Department, in co-operation with a number of local charities and organisations.
The programme targeted raising the health and safety awareness of the target group. The participants were also given a bag each containing some clothes and personal hygiene articles.
