Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) has unveiled its action-packed sports calendar for 2024, featuring a total of 43 events and championships, both on the international and local fronts.
The diverse calendar encompasses a range of motorsports events that will showcase global talent across various disciplines. Notable highlights include the Qatar International Rally scheduled for February 1-2, the inaugural Qatar 1812 Km - FIA World Endurance Championship taking place from February 29 to March 2, the 2024 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar from March 8-10, the Qatar International Baja happening between October 31 and November 2, and the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 scheduled from November 28 to December 1.
The sporting action kicks off in January with the first round of the FIM Mini GP Qatar and the Qatar National Sprint Championship. February brings the Qatar International Rally, round 1 of the Qatar Off-Road Championship, round 2 of the Qatar National Sprint race, and the Qatar 1812 Km – FIA World Endurance Championship. The month concludes with the Qatar Touring Car Championship's first round.
March sees the 2024 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar, along with the first round of the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship and the Formula 4 event.
April includes rounds 3 and 4 of the Qatar Off-Road Championship and round 2 of the Mini GP race. May features round 3 of the Mini GP race, the first three rounds of the Qatar Karting Championship, round 2 of the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship, and Qatar Touring Car Championship. June brings round 3 of the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship and the Qatar Touring Car Championship, followed by rounds 4 and 5 of the Qatar Karting Championship.
The motorsports action resumes in September with rounds 3 and 4 of the Qatar National Sprint races, round 5 and 6 of the Qatar Off-Road Championship, and round 4 of the Mini GP competitions. October includes rounds 5 and 6 of the Qatar National Sprint races, Mini GP, round 4 of the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship, Qatar Touring Car Championship, and the kickoff of the Qatar International Baja, leading into November.
November features round 5 of the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship, Qatar Touring Car Championship, round 7 of the Qatar Off-Road Championship, and Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024. December concludes the year with round 8 of the Qatar Off-Road Championship and the MENA Karting Nations Cup Championship 2024 from December 17-21.
