Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) warns of poor horizontal visibility and issued a marine warning due to strong wind and high sea expected during the weekend.
The marine warning will start from Saturday, December 11, until beginning of Monday, December 13.
During this period, the wind will be blow in the northwesterly direction with speeds ranging between 18-28 KT. The sea heights will also range between 5-9 ft.
QMD also stated that it will be misty to foggy at some places at first followed by mild weather conditions with scattered clouds and may be partly cloudy at times on Saturday.
The temperature will vary from 18 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius.
Visibility on both days will be 4-8 kilometres / 2 kilometres or may be less at places at first.
