Doha: According to a weather forecast from Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) strong wind with high sea is expected from Friday evening. A marine warning was also issued from tomorrow evening until the middle of next week due to this weather condition.
In a statement on Twitter, QMD said that the wind will be northwesterly ranging between 12-22 KT gusting to 28 KT at some places. Sea heights will also range between 4-7 ft rising to 9 ft at times.
QMD also urged citizens and residents to take precaution and avoid marine activities during the warning period.
Furthermore, weather conditions during the weekend will also be hazy to misty at some places at first followed by hot daytime with slight dust.
The minimum and maximum temperatures expected during the weekend are 28 degree Celsius and 37 degree Celsius.
The visibility will mainly range from 4 kilometres to 9 kilometres and may become less at some places on Friday. The visibility on Saturday will range from 4-8 kilometres.
