Qatar's International Food Festival Begins with 100+ Food Stalls

Doha, Qatar: Culinary enthusiasts celebrated the opening of the Qatar International Food Festival yesterday at the Family Zone within Expo 2023 Doha, nestled in Al Bidda Park.

Running until February 17, this epicurean affair promises a delightful experience for visitors of all ages, offering a diverse range of culinary delights.

Spanning a vast venue, the 13th edition of the festival features an impressive lineup of over 100 food and beverage kiosks, showcasing a fusion of international, Mediterranean, Asian, and Arabic cuisines. From delectable street food to exquisite haute cuisine, attendees are invited on a tantalizing journey across the globe.

Beyond the array of dishes, the festival transforms into a culinary haven, hosting renowned chefs and presenting unique dining experiences. Attendees can immerse themselves in live cooking shows, interactive workshops, and nightly paramotor fireworks displays, all accompanied by live entertainment that enhances the festive atmosphere.

Among the festival's highlights is the eagerly awaited return of "Dinner in the Sky," an elevated dining experience suspending guests 40 meters above ground. Here, guests can relish a luxurious three-course meal while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding skyline.

This elevated restaurant accommodates up to 22 people, offering a three-course meal priced at QR499, with the Moonlight Flight option, featuring snacks and soft drinks, available for QR190.

Furthermore, the festival will feature esteemed chefs and personalities from the global gastronomy scene, adding to its allure.

In addition to savoring culinary delights, attendees can explore the Heenat Salma Farm pop-up, an innovative initiative promoting sustainable food production in Qatar and beyond. Here, visitors can sample a diverse range of artisanal dairy products, baked goods, fruit preserves, and flavorful pickles and condiments, showcasing locally sourced goodness.

For those inclined towards plant-based cuisine, the QIFF Garden awaits, offering a serene ambiance and an array of vegan treats from renowned brands like Evergreen Organics, Mylk, Nosh Cravings, All About Doughnuts, Hookies, Botany, Green and Go, Neat Burger, Raw, Suzy, Thalatheen, Noor Almazroei, and more.

Meanwhile, the Torba Market pop-up celebrates the finest in local artisanal foods, featuring organic produce and handcrafted goods from Qatar's farmers and artisans since 2017.
