The abolition of the sponsorship system and its replacement with a contractual system, the abolition of legal restrictions related to changing jobs between different employers, as well as the enactment of a law setting a minimum wage, in addition to the issuance of many decisions and enactment laws in order to preserve the health and well-being of all workers in Qatar are among the changes.

He added that the designs of the sports fields attract attention, and Malaysians can now enjoy the opportunity to view the models of these stadiums at the Road to 2022 exhibition, organised by the embassy.
He described the engineering design of the stadiums as really wonderful, pointing out Lusail Stadium as not only beautiful but also contains solar panels to generate clean energy, so it not only provides energy for itself, but also provides for the city of Lusail.
He also included that Al Bayt Stadium looks like a Bedouin tent, the Education City Stadium is scheduled to become an educational city after the tournament, where there are schools and kindergartens on an area of 12 sq km, and then there is the waterfront of Ras Abu Aboud Stadium with a surrounding lake in Doha, which is 100% ready.
The ambassador said that Qatar invested huge sums to host the World Cup to build and renovate the eight stadiums, and that six stadiums are ready while two others are about to be completed.
