Qatar Watch Club Exhibition opens in Katara

Doha: A unique and rare collection of watches from international brands dating back to different periods of time is being exhibited at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara). 

The Qatar Watch Club Exhibition in Building 46 of Katara General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, inaugurated the exhibition. 

Paintings, books and clippings from old and modern newspapers and magazines about watches are also on display. 

“The club targets young Qatari watch collectors, who are united by the love of this hobby. Katara is keen to provide Qatari youth with places that develop their hobbies and enrich their passion and interests,” said Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti.

He noted that such clubs increase accurate knowledge in this field, as well as enable them to exchange experiences and information in this regard.

“It is important for Katara to include such clubs, and it is a club for display and not for sale. It will witness an important gathering of people with hobbies and those interested in it.” 

Dr. Al Sulaiti said that the exhibition will be a great opportunity for visitors to see it and learn more about it. 

The club was established in 2018 with 30 members at the time, now the number of members reached 60.
