Qatar, US strengthen partnership in combating terrorism

A session on partnership in law enforcement and combating terrorism was held in Washington within the framework of the 4th Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue.

During the session, they discussed security issues of common interest and agreed on the need to continue strengthening co-operation between the two countries.

The two parties signed an agreement on exchanging information on visas between the two governments. It was signed by Director of the International Co-operation Department at the Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee, and chair of the Qatari side in the session Major General Eng Abdulaziz Abdullah al-Ansari and Under-Secretary at the US Department of Homeland Security Robert Silver.
