Chairman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee Major General Engineer Abdul Aziz Abdullah al-Ansari met yesterday with the visiting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Department of the Treasury, Paul Ahern. The meeting discussed ways to enhance efforts to combat terrorism and its means of financing as well as to reduce its risks at all levels, QNA reported. The meeting also dealt with the role of national, regional and international institutions in this framework and the importance of international co-operation to confront the threat of terrorism.
