Qatar team participates in Kuwait Air Show

The Air Show Team of the Qatar Air Sports Committee participated in the opening ceremony of the second edition of Kuwait Air Show 2020, which started yesterday at the Kuwait International Airport. 1,200 participants representing 200 international companies are taking part in the show and 70 modern aircrafts are on display at the exhibition.

The exhibition is open till tomorrow.

The Qatari team’s performance was impressive at the opening ceremony in the presence of a number of dignitaries, where the team jumped holding flags of Kuwait and Qatar along with portraits of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Emir of Kuwait HH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad.

The 16 skydivers formed a diamond as part of the performance. The Qatari team will perform again at Kuwait Towers tonight. Captain Mohamed Youssef Al-Sulaiti, Assistant Commander of the Paratroopers Brigade and member of the Qatar Air Sports Committee, expressed his happiness to participate in the Kuwait Air Show.

Al Sulaiti said that the Qatar Air Sports Committee enjoys a good reputation locally and internationally and that participation in such events will have a major role in highlighting air sports in the region.
