Qatar takes part in 14th Military Music Festival in Moscow

Moscow: The State of Qatar, represented by the Police Band, took part in the opening of the 14th International Military Music Festival, which is held in the Russian capital, Moscow, with a wide international participation.

The delegation of the State of Qatar is led by Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior Major General Abdullah Yousef Al Mal, and consists of a number of directors of departments, as well as members of the Police Band.

During the opening, Qatar Police Band, which includes 61 musicians, 18 of the silent team and 3 for carrying and guarding the flag, presented a number of military musical performances, a silent weapon show accompanying musical performance, and other distinguished performances that won the audience’s admiration.

The Band plays various musical instruments and has a great legacy of musical pieces that document the work of the police across different eras. The Band’s tunes are derived from the old Qatari heritage and the innovations of contemporary art.

Qatar Police Band takes part in International Military Music Festival, in Moscow.This is the Police Band’s first participation in the Festival which is being held on Red Square in Moscow.
