Doha: The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the airstrike which targeted a military college in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, leaving scores of students killed and injured.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the airstrike may amount to a war crime and crimes against humanity.
The statement called on the international community to take immediate action to protect the civilians and open an urgent investigation into the incident, paving the way for bringing the aggressors to international justice.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Libya, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
