Qatar and India sign declaration  to establish joint commission

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in Doha yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, ways of boosting them, developments related to the Gulf crisis, Kuwaiti mediation efforts, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Following the meeting, a joint declaration to establish a joint commission between the governments of Qatar and India was signed. It is headed by the ministers for foreign affairs of the two countries.

The joint declaration was signed by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani and Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
