Doha, Qatar: In a gesture of gratitude for the dedicated service and hard work of Qatari retirees, Qatar Airways has introduced exclusive offers for individuals holding retirement cards. The announcement was made during the official inauguration of Souq Al Matar, the Traditional Qatari Heritage and Hospitality, held at Hamad International Airport.
Beginning in 2024, Qatari retirees with retirement cards can avail themselves of these special benefits. The offers include a 25% discount on first-class and business-class tickets and a 50% discount on economy-class tickets for all Qatar Airways flights, spanning over 170 destinations globally. Additionally, retirees will enjoy up to a 20% discount at restaurants, cafes, and retail stores in Qatar Duty Free.
Commenting on the initiative, Qatar Airways Group CEO, Eng Badr Mohammed Al Meer, stated, "Our goal has always been to ensure that the travel experience at Hamad International Airport remains one of the best in the world. Souq Al Matar brings a whole new dimension to passengers, where they can shop, dine, and experience a taste of Qatar without having to leave the airport.
