All cancelled Welcome Home bookings have been processed, Qatar Airways said in a statement on their social media channel yesterday.
Earlier, Discover Qatar had cancelled all quarantine booking requirements due to the Ministry of Public Health’s directives for travellers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka to quarantine for ten (10) days, whether vaccinated or not.
“We are pleased to announce that all of the Welcome Home bookings cancelled as a result of the new MoPH entry rules have been processed. You should receive full refunds within the next 14 days,” the tweet read.
Currently, all travellers from the above-mentioned six countries are required to undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine at a designated hotel. Passengers have to book a quarantine hotel stay before their travel.
