Qatar Airways has also been awarded for its on-time performance in Seoul, South Korea, by Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) which recently held the ‘Incheon Airport 2014 Airline Awards’. The IIAC selected airlines based on their on-time percentage, check-in waiting time, baggage handling, passenger survey for services, level of contribution to the airport’s growth, and passenger percentage.

Qatar Airways competed with nearly 20 other carriers and won the Best Airline of the Year Award in the group of over 200,000 passengers carried in 2014. The airline’s Airport Service Manager for Seoul (ICN), Baek-Jae Kim collected the award on behalf of Qatar Airways at an award ceremony organised at Incheon International Airport. “These two awards are a direct testament to Qatar Airways’ ongoing commitment to meet the needs of our passengers and to ensure that they receive a seamless travel experience,” said the airline’s Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker. “On-time performance is a critical factor considered by passengers while selecting which airline to fly with and Qatar Airways has always prioritised this throughout the last 18 years of our operations.”
