Pre-appointment not required to visit QNL

Doha: With the government announcing the imminent further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Qatar National Library (QNL) has announced that a pre-appointment is no longer required to visit the library. Also the library was operating at full capacity since yesterday.
“Pre-appointment is no longer required to visit the library, and we are open from Saturday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm, and on Friday 4pm to 8pm (as of Friday, October 8). Inside the library, precautionary measures will continue to be observed including physical distancing, masks at all times for everyone over age 12, and Ehteraz status displayed upon entering,” the Qatar National Library said in its website. 
Also the Children’s Library will be open on Fridays as well. 
“Children’s Library will reopen on Fridays too. Pre-appointment is no longer required, and the Children’s Library is open from Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm, and on Friday from 4pm to 6.30pm (as of Friday,  October 8),” said the library.  “For our children’s safety, in-library ticketing system will be used to control the capacity using first-come, first-served basis,” it added.
