Doha: Weather inshore until 9 am on Monday will be slightly cloudy and cold by night, misty to foggy at most areas, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor visibility expected at most area.
“A noticeable rise in relative humidity rates is observed where it currently exceeds 90% in Hamad Airport. Formation of mist/fog is expected tonight extending gradually over most areas of the country especially during the period between midnight and tomorrow morning,” the department posted on twitter.
Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers or 2 kilometers or less at places at times.
“Chance of misty/foggy conditions expected to continue tonight over most areas causing poor visibility at times. Foggy conditions expected to continue until 9am tomorrow in some areas,” the department added.
Offshore, it will be misty to foggy at some places with scattered clouds, warning of poor visibility at some places.
Wind inshore will be mainly southeasterly at a speed of 5 to 10 knot.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly at a speed of 3 to 10 knot.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore, it will be 1 to 3 feet.
