'Passage to India 2022' festival a hit

The ongoing Indian community festival “Passage to India 2022” at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park, organised by the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), continued to attract a large audience Friday.

The three-day event, highlighting the rich, vibrant and dynamic culture of India, is set to conclude Saturday at 11pm.

Gates open at 2pm.

Cultural performances are among the major attractions of the festival, organised with support from Qatar’s Ministry of Culture, the Indian embassy in Doha, and the MIA.

The event also marks the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence, the culmination of Qatar-India Year of Culture, and Qatar-Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) Year of Culture.
