Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality recently received a delegation from the participants of a technical workshop titled 'Mangrove Forest at Al Khor city: Towards urban development and sustainable nature'.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Municipality during November 3-7 as part of the events of The 57th International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) World Planning Congress, launched Monday and will continue for four days in Doha.
The municipality officials and representatives of the various departments at the Ministry accompanied the delegation while visiting various public sites including Al Qarm beach park, Bin Ghannam Island, Al Khor Park, and other tourist places.
